Living so close to the Gulf of Mexico, I go to the beach several times a week and hate bringing home sand that gets in to my washing machine. This new blanket is like magic! I really did not believe it until I actually saw it work, but the sand magically falls right out of the blanket. Dry sand falls through and wet sand balls up and slides right off. It even comes with a little carrying bag that fits into my beach bag. It big enough for me and the grands or my husband and I with plenty of space. This is a must have for every beach lover!
It's a blanket, it is big enough for a family and it is not cotton - so sand does not get stuck in between its fibers - which is amazing for those getting to the beach in a car! Clearly the seller have put in a lot of thought into the product and added much needed items to the package that makes it even better. There are hooks that will keep it spread even if you move around and about on it. There are pretty nice shades there as well - they are comfortable and block the sun nicely. There's also a carrying back for those of us who are neat freaks.
We have used it in the park, to protect my car seats when we took Samy (our dog) and the trunk, and as a cover when it unexpectedly started to rain. It's compact, so it stays in my trunk and is there when I need it, not bulky like my other blanket options. It's HUGE, every time I take it out my friends are amazed at how big it is when packed so small.
We were looking for a new beach blanket and I really wanted one that won't get soggy and sandy and weigh a million pounds after a day at the beach. This actually is perfect for that. I was afraid it would get hot but it does not, sand blows or wipes right off and it doesn't hold water. The stakes aren't the deepest, so this won't work as well in super soft sand. I wet the sand where we will put the stakes to hopefully keep it in the ground and so far it has worked nicely. We have only taken one beach trip with it though. This is perfect for families with little kids to keep from having a towel full of water and sand because once they get like that my son won't sit on them.
i wanted a blanket that could fold up compactly for sporadic use for outdoor environments. this one worked out well. i haven't used the plastic spike to hold it in the ground, but it would be handy when in a breezy place. the colors are also nice for photos.
We often go to the beach or farm with my kids in summer. I’m pregnant and have 2 kids. So everything that we bring need to be light weight, tidy and useful. I couldn’t bring my old beach blanket because it is too big and heavy. I found this item and read the good reviews about it. I felt so great when I received it. It was the shame I thought. Not it is one of necessary items when we go out. Will buy it again 😄

I bought this for picnics and beach outings. I took it out yesterday for the first time to test it out It's a nice little blanket. It's waterproof and sand rolls right off of it. The fabric is similar to nylon tent fabric, so it is also extremely durable. My favorite part is that it is extremely light and compact - I will definitely be taking this hiking and camping as well. If you have a rope and are near some trees, I can see this working as a makeshift sunshade as well!
This beach blanket is very light and has a carrying bag with a carabiner making it easy to attach to anything else you are taking to the beach. Water beads up on it and sand brushes off easily. It comes with stakes which are really nice for windy days when other blankets would blow away.
